Lubertus Leutscher (1960) begon zijn muzikale opleiding op achtjarige leeftijd met trompet en piano. Mede doordat hij diverse muziekfestivals en concoursen in binnen- en buitenland bezocht en vele prijzen in de wacht sleepte, bleef zijn muzikaal talent niet onopgemerkt. Hierdoor kon hij op opmerkelijk jonge leeftijd van veertien jaar beginnen aan de vooropleiding aan het Prins Claus Conservatorium te Groningen en vervolgde hij zijn studie met als hoofdvak trompet bij Freddie Grin en bijvak piano bij Gerardus van der Deijl. Tijdens deze periode speelde hij tevens in het nationaal fanfareorkest en in het Nederlands jeugdelftal, waardoor hij een keuze moest maken tussen een carri\u00e8re als musicus of als profvoetballer.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Frysk Orkest` Frysk Orkest<\/em>, vervolgens het Koninklijk Concertgebouw Orkest<\/em> en het Noord Nederlands Orkest<\/em>Hij werkte onder beroemde dirigenten als Bernard Haitink, Antal Dor\u00e1ti, Nicolaus Harnoncourt, Jean Fournet, Hans Vonk, Edo de Waart en Kirill Kondrasjin. Als solist trad Leutscher veel op in Duitsland, Zwitserland en op festivals in o.a. Noorwegen. In het begin van de jaren \u201980 bracht Lubertus Leutscher i.s.m. organist Euwe de Jong zijn eerste cd uit: \u2018La trompette Triomphale\u2019 met werken van Jean Langlais. Lubertus Leutscher werkte mee aan diverse tv- en radioprogramma\u2019s .<\/p>

Als docent was Lubertus Leutscher van 1980 tot 1991 verbonden aan het Gronings Opleidings Instituut.<\/em> Tevens was hij docent aan de Stedelijke Muziekschool<\/em> in Groningen en Muziek- Dans- en Theaterschool<\/em> in Veendam.<\/p>

Lubertus Leutscher studeerde orkestdirectie bij de vermaarde Nederlandse dirigent Anton Kersjes. De intense samenwerking met dirigent en violist Victor Liberman gaf hem verdere artistieke impulsen en inspiratie.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 1997 maakte Lubertus Leutscher als dirigent veel indruk op het muziekfestival Grahamstown te Zuid Afrika met het Noord Nederlands Blazers Ensemble<\/em> , hetgeen resulteerde in een uitnodiging voor een gastdirectie bij het KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra<\/em> in Durban.<\/p>

In 1999 verwierf Lubertus Leutscher veel aanzien met het Noord Nederlands Blazers- en Strijkersensemble: Sinfonietta Groningen<\/em> , bij de twaalfsteden serie van het Noord Nederlands Orkest<\/em>In 2001 dirigeerde Leutscher het Noord Nederlands Orkest<\/em> , betreffende een symfonisch eerbetoon aan streektaalzanger Ede Staal. \u00a0<\/p>

Lubertus Leutscher was de afgelopen jaren regelmatig gastdirigent bij het Bochumer Symphoniker<\/em> in Duitsland en dirigeerde hij meerdere concerten met het Gelders Orkest<\/em>Met het HSO maakte hij een succesvolle tournee naar Isra\u00ebl waar o.a. de Henry Crown Hall\/Jerusalem Theater werd aangedaan.<\/p>

Lubertus Leutscher is tevens initiator van de in 2010 opgerichte stichting Veenkoloniaal Symfonie Orkest<\/em>Met dit regionale orkest verwierf hij veel lof voor de bijzondere projecten die dit orkest de afgelopen jaren maakte met o.a. \u2018Het Geluk\u2019, Tsjechov in de Veenkoloni\u00ebn, \u2018Streekgenoten\u2019, \u2018Dopper Festival\u2019, overige diverse grote symfonische projecten in o.a.de Duitse grensstreek en voetbalopera \u2018Veendammer Wind\u2019.<\/p>
